Tallinex Forex Broker Tallinex Review
Investment experiment - Week 1
I have decided to test the waters on some investments, focusing on stocks & shares, P2P lending, FOREX trading, and, of course, Bitcoin. I thought I would post the results each week on /ukpersonalfinance (unless there is push back from the community) as it may be interesting to see how each asset performs. Week 1 results: Stocks & shares ISA (medium risk)
Current value: £3962.16
FX Choice FOREX (high risk)
Current value: £235.84
Tallinex FOREX (high risk)
Bitcoin (high risk)
Ratesetter (low risk)
Total capital: £6,251.20 Total value: £6195.43 Overall gain: -0.89% Note: This post is not intended to advise. I am using a medium to high risk strategy with my investments. It is purely and exercise to see performance and provide some real-life examples for those looking to invest money.
I'm getting ready to reopen my trading accounts. This is my second attempt to trade on the side. What advice do you have? Who do you trade through (in U.S.?) Would you recommend the MetaTrader 4,5 or something different? Why do you trade Forex instead of futures? Hoping to understand and make a legit and profitable run. My last trade ended because Tallinex shut out my account to Capital City Markets, and with the higher spreads I wasn't turning profits. I opened with $300 (figuring $500 this time) and was making about $30 a week for the few months it was opened. I would spend most of the time on long trades, I would like to scalp more, but it's not my strong suit. I'll be going live again about February.
There has been lot of queries regarding Blackhedge. As one of the founders of Blackhedge I thought it would be proper to put up a brief primer on Blackhedge explaining about ourselves and our services and how you can profit from it before it fully goes functional. Those of you who have not visited our website yet can visit us at www.blackhedge.co . In short Blackhedge is the world's first Altcoin centric proprietary trading firm. That is simply we trade all fiat asset classes ( forex, stocks, commodities, bonds) and also crypto currencies with company owned shareholder funds and pay dividends to our shareholders in purely BLK .( This is unlike some bitcoin based hedgefunds who only trade bitcoins)We also finance BLK centric crypto projects and promote blackcoin technology. Most of you by now are probably thinking that we are yet another crypto scam site who will disappear with the money overnight. Most of you might question that is it even legal ??The main issue with most cryptocoiners is trust so far I understand and we are not even asking you to trust us. We are a proper registered firm managing our company owned funds and also acting as a money manager for three very reputed and regulated brokerage houses. As I said you do not need to trust us to make money from us :-). All you have to do is open an account with one of the brokers we are affiliated under and copy our trades in our account. So you do not have to pay money to us directly. You have full control of your money and you may withdraw it anytime you like minus our performance fees which varies from 15 -20 % which the broker directly debits from your account in case of a profit. We also accept clients from U.S and Canada.Sounds interesting ?? Read on. For Non U.S clients Minimum investment :- 100 USD Minimum top up :- 20 USD Performance fee:- 15 % Withdrawal penalty :- Nil Deposit :- Bank Wire/Credit Card and various e-currencies Broker :- Fxopen ( regulated in New Zealand) To open an account all you have to do is to click the following link and invest under our trade signals https://pamm.fxopen.com/en/Pamm/Blackhedge6 For U.S/Canada based clients Minimum investment :- 500 USD Performance fee :- 20 % Withdrawal penalty :- Nil Deposit Mode :- Bank Wire/Credit Cards Broker:- Tallinex( regulated in St. Vincents and Grenadines) To open an account please click the following link open an account http://www.tallinex.com/open-account?i=127745&s=127745 Also note we are not responsible if the broker does not open your account because of the lack of documents on your part or because of their anti- money laundering policies. We also do not provide tax or financial planning advise to clients availing this service. Need futher help or clarifications you can email us at [email protected] Also note a major percentage of the performance fees will go towards financing BLK projects and development of the blackcoin eco system. Further questions you might be pondering upon would be - 1)Is Blackhedge a ponzi scheme ? 2)If it is not a ponzi then is it profitable ? 3)Credentials of the Blackhedge traders ? 1) It cannot be a ponzi scheme because we do not accept any direct money from clients. We manage only our self owned shareholder(member) money .There are no guaranteed quantum of profits.Profits depend upon the performance of our traders. 2) Well you can follow our live trades in twitter at @Blackhedge_ Our trading statistics can be certified and tracked at a reputed third party website http://myfxbook.com/members/blackhedge . Yes we do make money. Need more mind boggling stats ?mail us we will be happy to flood you with more stats. 3)Traders trading our accounts have atleast one international financial certification i.e either a CFA( Certified Financial Analyst) or someone who has cleared all three levels of CMT ( Chartered Market Technician) Program from Market Technicians Association, New York. It is a prerequisite for anyone handling our accounts. We do not guarantee any certain quantum of profits but we do ensure that the trades you follow are done by professional qualified traders. As one of the founders of Blackhedge I have over 10 years of trading experience in the financial markets with both the certifications mentioned. If one wants to make a more active association with us in the capacity of a shareholder, we are open to private equity placements.Shareholders ofcourse gets their dividend in blackcoins and enjoy superior returns by participating directly in the growth of the company. Current Status :- Trading is on and interested folks and copy our trades and also contribute to the growth of blackcoin. Future Plans :- We are working on some other features of our website which will be online soon enough. We are also in the process of developing some pure blackcoin based financial products which I cannot elaborate right now for the sake of confidentiality. I hope members of this community will support us in this venture and together we can make a great coin i.e Blackcoin the greatest. Always bet on BLK. Opinions wanted: Choosing Broker after SNB Floor Removal
Hello, I am conflicted about the options for a brokerage account that I am now facing in light of recent events and would enjoy hearing others opinions. Pertinent Information:
I am a trader located in the USA
I trade several technical strategies, all of which revolve around tight breakouts and trend riding.
I have never needed to use more leverage than 1:50
I have had accounts with Forex.com and more recently held all of my funds in a Finfx account
My accounts have a combined value of ≈ $30,000
I recently received an email from Finfx stating that they could no longer accept US clients but had secured a deal with a broker in Grenada called "Tallinex". All of my funds, open positions, and accounts are to be moved automatically to a Tallinex server the first of next month. I have long considered hedging my risk by holding accounts with multiple brokers, and because of recent events I am more inclined than ever to do so. The only issue I am facing is selection of brokers. I have always known that if i were to open a US account it would be with FXCM but I am not sure about how safe that would be now, especially if my goal is to hedge risk; However, as far as US accounts go they are by far the least expensive to trade. So my questions are:
Should I keep my funds with Tallinex? I am conflicted about their reviews and regulatory standards.
Should I open an account with FXCM? They are by far the least expensive broker I know of and are very well regulated and known, but would my funds be safe there if they close down?
Should I open accounts at two different brokers to hedge my risk? Perhaps one in the US as a primary account and one off shore that allows hedging and higher leverage. And if so should those two brokers be FXCM and Tallinex?
I prefer being able to be able to hedge and have access to high leverage, however i would weight the cost of daily trading lower than the risk of having my funds in an account where it would not be safe. My current Opinion is that I should open an account with FXCM as I do not necessarily need to hedge or use high leverage, however I am unsure of the relative safety of doing that. If it is to risky than perhaps another US broker like OANDA would be good because I can feel safe with my money being there as well as their prices (though they are not stellar). Thanks for any and all responses! I have lurked this sub for almost a year for entertainment and relaxation, but I hope to be more active in the future.
Hey everyone! I have been studying forex and practicing in a demo account for about a month and a half now and I think I'm ready to open a live account. I have been trying tons of strategies and I think I found a great one that has been working for me, pretty simple (It involves MACD crossover, support/resistance and 21 moving average line). I'm not like most people who just dump money into a forex account and actually expect to make thousands right away. I studied hard, slaving away forums, websites, youtube videos trying to figure everything out and I think I'm ready. I started with 500 USD in my demo account and made 398.52 in the first day when I used my 'perfected' strategy (leverage 1:200). I just would like some advice on what broker I should use. I see so much bs online, and I would really appreciate your advice. I would use OANDA but it only has a leverage of 1:50, and I want to use 1:200 LOL. I saw some stuff on Tallinex, but there's not too much on it. Any help will be appreciated!
I'm pretty new to the whole Forex thing and I'm looking for a broker. I've come across some confusing and conflicting information about whether US citizens can use foreign forex brokers and use higher leverage and trade CFDs and the like. From what I know, I believe the answer is "no" thanks to the recent Dodd-Frank legislation, which forbids foreign exchanges from serving US citizens without being registered with US regulators. However, although I'm personally living, working and residing in the US, and am subject to US taxes, among other things, I'm not a US citizen. So my questions are:
As a resident alien, am I subject to these regulations?
If someone subject to these regulations opens a foreign forex brokerage account anyway, what's the penalty?
Are there any issues with foreign forex investing and tax?
Can anyone recommend a good lawyer to talk to about this? (I'm in CA if it matters)
I had a brief look at the text of the act itself but apparently it's nearly 900 pages long. EDIT: Reading into it more, it seems the penalties are generally imposed on the brokers themselves under "Memoranda of Understanding" between the US and various countries. It also seems that the restrictions do indeed apply to residents as well. At least the brokers that make a statement on the matter use the word "resident". It seem mainly the media and forums that use the word "citizen". My impression so far is that some brokers operate in countries that aren't subject to the memoranda and as such are outside the jurisdiction of the US regulators, so continue offering services to US citizens/residents. There's a good list of foreign brokers that work this way here. Tallinex, Tradersway and Fxchoice seem to be the main ones. Out of those only Fxchoice appears to be regulated but it's not clear whether it's selling ECN (they call it "NDD") or not.
Newbie starting out with trading, i have a question.
i ben thinking about staring out with doing some trading in my staretime, with some spare money i have left from my birthday. and i have heard fromsome friends that sme of the more knowen and better sites to use is. AvaTrade, Trader’s Way, Tallinex, HotForex “Currenex”, Pepperstone “Razor” and Synergy FX so witch of this site do you recommend? and is there any major difference between these sites?
So I have played around with a demo account for a while and have been marginally successful with it(barly higher than what it started with) but not enough to trust myself with real money. I stumble upon a managed forex account and was wondering what you guys think of them in general and with how well they are doing? They have a enormous performance fee 35% here is a link https://www.tallinex.com/mm-details
